The only thing you got to do here is hit the OK button and the setup gets interrupted.

Windows cannot find the Microsoft Software License Terms

The following methods are effective in order to get this issue fixed:

1] Get a new installation image

There might be issues with your installation image like being corrupt or illegally modified. Or the bootable storage device created might have damaged sectors or installation.

You can try to download a fresh copy of the Windows 11/10 installation image using the Media Creation Tool or just use get the ISO image separately and build a bootable USB.

2] Switch Ports

The connection to the USB port might unstable due to a number of factors and thus hampering the installation performance. You can try to switch your USB port or in case of using an optical drive, get an external USB optical drive or connect it to another port internally to check if the issue is now fixed or not.

3] Fix the CFG file

CFG is a configuration file format used for storing settings. Now you need to download this ei.cfg file that has been created by me. Extract the contents of the zip file and then copy this file to the root of your bootable drive. If you still encounter the same error, try copying it inside the /sources/ folder inside the root of the drive and that should fix your error for sure. This should make the install process error-free.
